Kendra Smith , a 14 year old young gospel artist in the making is truly blessed and anointed. Kendra has been singing since the young age of three. Even as a little girl, Kendra loved to minister through song to the young and old. Kendra continues to bless many people with her big voice. Kendra's talent was discovered by her father, a church musician, and he realized that she had something special. Kendra's dad immediately starting working with her daily, to help develop her gift from God, and she is going to bless many with her voice. In 2008, Kendra released her first single, "Where Would I Be?" the single was rerecorded and became a hit on local radio stations, it was also featured on Cecil's World WBTW News 13, and in She Magazine.Kendra went on to record her first full album entitled "This Side of Heaven" The name of the album was inspiried by a sermon her pastor had preached one Sunday Morning. She knew that the message in her songs would fit the name perfectly. Kendra has performed with and for many Gospel Legends which include: John P. Kee, Luther Barnes & The Red Bud Choir, RL Bush & Gospel Silvertones, and many more......Even though Kendra is young in age she knows that nothing is impossible without God.
