Anointed Records, LLC is an independent label that was created in late 2005. The founders are Thomas V. Alexander (CEO), Nathaniel H. Dixon (A&R). Anointed Records is dedicated to producing new talent and being their highway to success. We are fully capable of providing services in mixing, mastering and production. We also do commercials and jingles. We specialize in gospel music and are willing to take you as far as you want to go. The sky is the limit! Our mission is to provide new and established artists an opportunity to be heard (locally and nationally) and a chance to showcase their talent.    My name is John McKoy, Jr. aka 'Pappy". I was born and raised in Dillon, SC but now I reside in Monroe, NC. I was brought up in church and I come from a family with deep musical roots. Music has always been a gift that I've cherished. At age 23, I got married to my wonderful wife Felicia and we had kids together. We have been married now about 12 years and we are still going strong. Faith, Family and Friends are the things that I am all about. Recently I auditioned in Atlanta for Gospel Dream 2008 and was chosen as one of three finalists from the Atlanta auditions to move on to Nashville, TN.

Deon “Du-B” Campbell

Music Producer / Composer / Actor

Biography

Born and raised in Mullins, South Carolina, Deon has been involved in the music world since age seven.  Growing up in a spiritual household where his father is a Pastor and his mother was involved with her sisters in a gospel quartet has brought Deon up in a musical world.  After graduating Mullins High School, Deon went on to obtain his Associate’s Degree in Human Services / Public Service from Florence-Darlington Technical College and his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Coker College.

Deon played and sang with a quartet (The Young Brothers In Christ) as drummer and then bass player for ten years in South Carolina.  He also has been a radio personality with WJAY 1280 for twelve years as a gospel announcer / music director.  In 1998, Deon toured internationally (European Tour) with Sandra Reaves-Phillips “Glory Hallelujah Gospel.”  After this tour, Deon made a move to Manhattan, New York to study arts.  He attended HB Acting Studios and TVI Actors Studios.  He also entered tap classes at Broadway Dance Center and New Dance Group with Jackie Patterson in New York.  In 1999, he toured to Italy with Sandra Reaves-Phillips, which made an appearance for Pope John Paul at the Vatican in Rome.  He has worked in the studio with artist such as Sandra Reaves-Phillips, Lacy Darryl Phillips, The Young Brothers In Christ, and Rosa Lewis just to name a few.
